The Camping Shop - Returns Policy
We are sure that you will be pleased with your purchases but should you need to return an item to us please follow the following procedures.
Items damaged in transit
If a parcel arrives and is visibly damaged please sign the carriers manifesto accordingly and notify us within 7 days and we will advise you as to how to return the goods. The items should be returned to us in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once received back into our warehouse we will issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse any return carriage costs you incur.
Items faulty on arrival
If goods are faulty due to a manufacturing fault you have 14 days in which to inform us of the fault. Please let us know about the fault by contacting our customer service department and we will advise you as to how the goods should be returned. We will need the items returned to us in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once we have verified the fault we will issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse any return carriage costs you incur. If upon checking the item it is found not to be faulty we will return the item to you and in this instance you will be liable for the return carriage.
Items faulty within the warranty period
If goods develop a fault during its warranty period please let us know by contacting our customer service department and we will advise you as to how the goods should be returned. We will need to know the date that you purchased the goods and will need the goods returned to us with your original receipt or proof of purchase. Once we have verified the fault we will issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse any return carriage costs you incur. If upon checking the item it is found not to be faulty we will return the item to you and in this instance you will be liable for the return carriage.
If you change your mind
If you change your mind and decide you do not want the goods then in line with Distance Selling Regulations you have 7 working days from receipt of your order to advise us that you wish to return the goods. If you wish us to collect the goods we can arrange this but you will be charged with the costs that we incur in so doing. Under the terms of the distant selling directive you have a duty of care for the product whilst it is in your possession, if the goods are damaged by you and subsequently returned in an unsaleable condition without the original packaging and labels intact no refund will be given. We will need you to include the original receipt with the returns. Your statutory rights are not affected. Once we have checked the goods and confirmed that they are in a saleable condition we will refund you the full price of the goods you originally paid.
